Thanks for reporting this!
1. We have jQuery 1.9.0 (and quickly tested with 1.9.1) running without the compatibility plugin in the CanJS tests and everything is passing. I am not aware of any of the functions being used (otherwise I assume it would have failed).
2. The Fiddle includes the setter plugin as well and I don't see the error. Or does it only happen once you use it?
