Perhaps I have misunderstood how pause/resume works, but I am
finding that when I call pause, resume doesn't work. The event
that has been paused fires on the second time that you click the item.
As you will see, the first time you click on the checkbox, its
state stays the same although the output shows that some of the code
is running. The second time you click it, the state updates and the
other event fires that I would have expected to have been fired with resume.
