binding problem data-picker / mustache / can-value

Hello guys,

I´m using mustache as template engine in my application. I have a form within the input fields are bind to a model by using can-value.
There is a date field which is also bound to the corresponding model attribute. Everything is working fine, except, when I select a value by a DatePicker. The field will be updated, but not the correspondign model attribute.

I use the current version of CanJs with jQuery 1.8.3 and the Date-Picker plug-in.

Hope some one has an idea what can be wrong.
