I was actually referring to the fact that say you have something like active defined in the parent scope, and it's parent's scope, in the second child it's undocumented that you can use the dot syntax to each up the viewscope tree.
Alos, what you're talking about here actually doesn't work so well, as there's no way to cross-bind to changes when done that way.
