We've started creating the CanJS meetup pages:

Here's a bit more about what we are trying to do:
Our primary goal is to explode CanJS's community. We want to make it easy for you to learn about CanJS and contribute back to it. The best way of doing that is actually meeting people, sharing ideas, and learning from each other.
To jump start this process, we want to start monthly or bi-montly meetups in cities across the US. I will travel to any city that starts a reoccurring meetup. Furthermore, Bitovi will provide the organizers of each meetup with Bitovi's training, workshop, and presentation material on a monthly basis.
If you are a CanJS shop or developer, this is an excellent opportunity to:
- Get FREE training material and advice on how to present it
- Recruit developers who care enough about perfecting their craft to attend meetups
- Be promoted on CanJS.com
- Have the ear of the Bitovi core team for new features / etc
- Make a name for yourself in the JS space (job security)
How amazing will it be to get high-quality trainings and workshops in your city every month on CanJS? But Bitovi can't do this. This has to come from the community. Fortunately, the response has been amazing. All the cities listed above has someone interested in helping. But the more help the better.
